Dear Dad.........

Happy Birthday. I never regret anything in life but...I do have one now. I have a lot of things on my mind I wish I would've done with you. It was harder to do anything with you in that last year with all the pain you were going through. I'm so blessed and happy that you got to be with your granddaughter, sorry I was so uptight with motherly things but that's just who I was with certain things at the time. You and Alice would have so much fun now. She's 2 1/2 and she'd make you laugh to tears....You were the sweetest grandpa..father..human being...Thank you. I know you know how I feel. I'm making you a cake today. Chocolate with Chocolate frosting or maybe vanilla and cream cheese frosting.. Wish I would've done it for you when you were here. You were in my dream last night. You and Donna came to visit like you sometimes did after you went to the store and brought something for Alice except this time you guys were in a truck and you brought a nice cut of meat for some reason   Donna gave it to us, you didn't get out, you seemed unhappy. But I suppose that is because that is how I saw you last. I never thought I'd be so sad about something in my life...nothing compares to losing someone you love. I wish I could tell you I loved you one more time... I do miss you painfully...Happy Birthday dad...Mark
